Bio

John H. Moyle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and is a Licensed Professional Engineer. John has been working on dam and flood control projects in New Jersey for 39 years. As Division Director for the Department’s, Division of Dam Safety and Flood Control he is responsible for engineering, economic, environmental, administrative and emergency response for New Jersey’s flood control and dam safety program. John currently is the National Flood Insurance Program coordinator for New Jersey. John is also responsible for administering the 110 million-dollar Dam Restoration Loan Program and 25 million-dollar Flood Control Grant Program for New Jersey. John is the lead staff on coordination as state partner with the Army Corps of Engineers on Flood Reduction Projects in NJ. John is Past President of the Association of State Dam Safety Officials. John was a board member to the National Dam Safety Review Board, which is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency from 2001 - 2009. John is on the Department of Homeland Security, Dams Government Coordinating Council which has been created to provide effective coordination for dam security and other security-related strategies to support the nation’s homeland security mission. Currently on the College of New Jersey Advisory Board for the Civil Engineering Program.
